This pack was released Jan 12, 2016. The primary feature of this pack was what . . . that's right, watching movies. The pack was bugged shortly after release and has yet to be fixed. The bug occurs when watching any movie, the progress will not complete and the sim will sit there watching the movie until one of their needs drags them away. Essentially you cannot watch movies. As the PRIMARY FEATURE of this pack has not worked for close to 4 years, my question is will Maxis or EA, or whoever wants to own up to this screw up either assure us that the pack will be fixed SOON!!! (as in within a couple of weeks) or offer a refund to the pack as it's never really worked in the first place.Eagerly awaiting your reply

I am pretty sure packed lunches were added in Parenthood. I have no problems with them. They work perfectly fine for me.

This is why I have so many mods. Hardly any are gameplay. It's just bugfixes or ones to tone down obsessive actions.

It always worked for me. I am having this issue since the latest patch. It doesn't bother me that much. I am pretty sure they are aware of this bug and that they are working on fixing it for us.

Also the bagged lunches are still bugged, that's a feature you added in Get to work, YOUR FIRST EXPANSION, and is still not working.... come on guys

Okay I'll give you bagged lunches, they were causing the sims to come home early from work or school, but looking at the forums it looks like that ONE might have actually gotten fixed. It was in the game for a very ... very ... very long time though. Kudos to Maxis for actually fixing a bug at least, it would be nice if they continued that practice. I know the movies are still not working though, and I wont even start trying to list the other bugs in the game, I don't want to write a book. Honestly though, if they fix the movies I'll be happy, it's not like they haven't had the time, that was one of their first packs.

And you say your Movies worked before the latest patch but I know mine (and many others on the forums) have not had movies work since shortly after the pack was released. I'm interested how yours worked, I'd gladly use a work around if one was available to fix the movies.

idk if they realise they are doing theirselves a disservice by neglecting these bugs. I saw few people say they did not buy dine out because of bugs. Resturants seem to work fine for me but such comments make me wonder how many people decicded against getting a pack because of bugs?

btw, how is the club feature that came with get together working for you? at times it does not work at all in my game and sims just ignore club activites even if i only had one activety assigned. For shame, that one was amongst the best features they came up with and yet i cant use it to its full potentioal.

@Bluebeard45 Bug fixes should be financed with the money pople spent on the pack since it is the seller's obligation to deliver a product that works as intended.
