Difficulty (or lack thereof) isn't really what bothers me about university in this game, it's the boring waste of time of just watching your Sims do homework and go to rabbit hole classes the whole time which takes around half on their adulthood in a normal lifespan if you take three terms with 4 classes, so probably more if you take less classes.
I can just have my Sims just start a career and get promoted to the same levels (and still have a life!!!) by the time they become mature adults.
