I hope so too. The game is lacking in the romance department. No attraction system,no slowdance,sims can't cuddle in bed or properly on the sofa etc etc etc.

I wish! I really want an Attraction system back in my game. I want my sims to actually have romantic preferences, not just be romantic with everyone. It gives them more personality.

Personally I don't know why the developers don't release a romantic pack. A lot of people are asking for one on these forums and on twitter.

Maybe it is because they already released Romantic Garden stuff? But I definitely could see a Wedding game pack or stuff pack. I don't know what just happened to the detailed post I just tried to post, maybe it revealed too much.

I sure hope not romantic garden covered nothing people are asking for at least romance wise. Even worse the item was a wishing well with an ugly face on it not so romantic poorly named packed overall.

I have to agree I mean I really like that pack its my favorite but it was poorly named

I could see a Romance Stuff pack, or even a Romance Game pack. If they do a game pack, they should add another buildable world, with a pre-built wedding venue. They should also add a "throw the bouquet", "throw the garter", "make a toast" and "eat wedding cake...together" interaction. Though they already did Romantic Garden stuff. It would be easy to add more decorative flowers, that is for sure. Certainly a selection of wedding gowns and wedding shoes, along with bridesmaid gowns and shoes, and matching tuxedos for grooms and groomsmen. Not to even mention romantic wallpapers with hearts and/or roses on them. They could also add a selection of grooms cakes.

Or, like a certain chat game I play on occasion, they could do different themed wedding stuff as well: Wild West wedding, Indian/Bollywood wedding, Fairytale wedding, Traditional Western wedding, Winter holiday wedding, even a Goth/Vampire (dark) wedding. Wedding stuff with a large variety of wedding colors. My wedding IRL by the way, had colors turquoise and yellow.

For me, if it's a romance game pack, I'd like it to focus more on new systems and interactions. Weddings are only a one time thing in Sim relationships and to be honest, I've never given any of my Sims a wedding because it's too much of a hassle. I'd get much more use out of a game mechanic that gives our Sims personal preferences and turn-ons and turn-offs. I'd like to see chemistry between Sims, new ways to date or find partners, and romantic interactions like holding hands, couple dances that are both slow and spicy, and new ways to flirt. I'd like blind dates, speed dating, internet hook-ups and family marriage arrangements. I'd like new places for teens to go "make out", first crushes, and new moodlets for rejection. Maybe even a new type of singles party so Sims can gather all the eligible Sims together to mingle.

I do think we could use more multi-cultural weddings too, and your ideas are definitely awesome. A game pack could probably include a lot of both romance and wedding stuff. :)

Romantic Garden isn't really a romantic pack.

Think a wedding pack was mentioned back when the polls were out for the community pack that ended up being laundry day, and I'm pretty sure that was after Romantic Garden stuff.. They did keep all of the designs and stuff they prepared so it would be nice to have another romantic pack, especially a rustic one imo.

It always bothered me that children never had romantic interactions between themselves: innocent kiss, first crush, make believe etc.

For older life stages: some romantic interaction from previous games and new ones: cuddling, snuggling, groping, kissing, necking, making out on beds, same interactions while stargazing, slow dancing, holding hands at the table, tasting food, etc. Also, why did sims never had any kind of romantic interaction in pools? This is not just a problem for romantic interaction to be fair.

Romantic games: Spin the bottle, truth or dare?, Seven minutes in heaven for teens etc.

Clothing/items: Veils (long, short and medium), heart-shaped items-beds, couches/chairs, medieval clothing, wedding dresses etc.

whoohoo locations: Shower, pools.

traits: faithful, unfaithful, polygamous, chivalrous/courteous, loyal, macho etc.

miscellaneous: Lovesickness, promise ring, gifts, turn-ons/offs, courtly love, fairytail wedding, online dating, infatuation, stalking, broken heart, secret admirer, star-crossed love, love triangle, lovestruck, theater, acting career, love letter/song, matchmaker NPC, divorce, not instantly knowing that their significant other is cheating on them unless they actually see it etc.
