Rotational play with calendar and events?

For some events, such as dinner parties, you can play the other household and be invited to the event as a guest. I wrote about that in this post.

But it doesn't work for weddings. Weddings are a bit too complicated I think, especially since frequently sims will be moving in together, etc.
