- As far as I know this is from a new traits tweak. You can initiate "try for baby" with the sim who hates children directly - this will work. But if suggested by the partner to try for baby these sims will now reject.
- MoridhusNew SpectatorMy brother created a female sim and sent her out to get pregnant with the first male sim she met. He didn't even look at the guy's traits. She got pregnant, so they got married. She had triplets. Only later did he learn that the guy had a "hates children" trait. Boy, that male sim must be bummed to be stuck with triplets.

Yeah I ended up adding him to the family and having him initiate. So strange as I didn’t think it happened before and I had another sims couple like this but I can’t remember who initiated try for baby.
Last patch had some trait improvements so it was literally just changed. - nikkiheathcote95New SpectatorBecause the vanilla game try for baby is a more and less a planned baby, people that hates children aren't going to want them, maybe change that trait with the re-trait potion in rewards store or maybe if you have a computer and don't mind using mods, you can use the wonderful whims mod it's similar to another that isn't age appropriate for everyone but this mod wonderful whims uses the woohoo that's already in the game, it's the clean version, it's more teen friendly aswell but accidental (surprise) pregnancies can happen with this mod

The mail man doesn’t want children. In fact, he hates children. Give the poor man a break! ?
He should do absolutely everything to avoid making actual babbies. Woohoo is grand, but forcing him to try for a baby....ouch!
If he’s not your active sim, I’m not surprised he’s responding badly to these crazy requests.
If that trait didn’t make sense in the past, at least it does now, which is a good thing! ??
I do hope that by adding him to the household your sim can now have Mailman Offspring.
Still...the cruelty...? - nikkiheathcote95New SpectatorHow this sim acts with the hates children trait does make more sense that they are having none of it, one of friends don't like children, shes not mean to children ( unlike the hates children trait in the game) she wouldn't be my friend if she was, she does tolerate them but only just lol she told me she'll never have children ever, that they make too much of a racket and make a mess and she loves keeping a spotless house ? and her idea of a pet is a rock aswell just thought I'd add that in there ?
