Sims 4

Hello EA / The Sims Team,

I am writing as a huge fan of The Sims franchise, but also as someone who feels left out because I don’t have a Windows or Mac computer. Right now, The Sims 4 is only available for PC and Mac, and while that’s fine for players who own those systems, there are many of us who only have Chromebooks, tablets, or phones.

For a lot of students and younger players, Chromebooks are the only computers we have access to, especially since schools often provide them. It can feel frustrating because we see The Sims community online and want to be part of it, but we literally can’t play the main game unless we own a gaming PC or Mac — which can be very expensive.

Since The Sims 4 base game is now free, it seems like the perfect opportunity to expand access. If EA could create an official version that works on Chromebooks, or release a supported cloud streaming option, it would allow so many new players to join in. Even just optimizing The Sims 4 for mobile or making a proper tablet version (different from The Sims Mobile or FreePlay) would help a lot.

The Sims franchise has always been about creativity, freedom, and inclusivity. Allowing Chromebook/tablet users to play would carry that same spirit forward — making sure everyone can participate no matter what device they have.

Thank you so much for considering this. I know many people like me would be thrilled to finally be able to play The Sims 4 without needing a Windows or Mac computer. Please think about expanding support — it would make a huge difference in the community.

Sincerely,

A hopeful player 💜
