My two Sim's are both constantly flirty every day as they spend their time together as a family with children.It's nice to see them experience other emotions as well and it gets annoying if I mainly see them 'flirty' every day because of the sentiment.Is there a way to stop this or turn Sentiments off? This new upgrade doesn't seem to work well as it's too often. I don't mind if I need to cheat just really want things to go back to normal lol as this isn't realistic and stops me from experiencing other emotions.

I have had a varied experience with sentiments... some get flirty often, if they get the 'passion' sentiment (not sure how it's called in english). But not all my couples get this sentiment and not always it is a shared feeling. I confess i love sentiments. It helps me define different kinds of relationships for different couples. But then maybe this is something i'm experiencing this way because i have been playing in rotation, so i get to play many different couples...

But what are all of your sims traits? And are you doing romantic interactions?I have two sims in love but rarely ever do romantic interactions. One is a romantic and he gets flirty often but he always did because of his trait. The other is childish and paranoid and she's almost never flirty unless I'm purposely doing something. And they both have close sentiments with eachother. They more so get happy from being in eachothers company but not flirty.

It’s ridiculous.
My family of 3....a mom and 2 teen girls are excavating in a temple with no one around and 2 of them are flirty.
It happens all the time and with inappropriate people....(even when they were children....flirty conversations with child sims should not even be possible)....I never noticed it pre sentiments.

That really shouldn't be happening with children. I didn't have this problem until the Sentiments as well so it's clearly this. I really hope they tell us they will update this issue or at least give us the option to turn off the sentiments if we don't this feature it on.

The icon is two roses and a book with the title 'utterly enamoured' both sims get the same icon when they are in the same room, the book in the icon symbolises the Sentiment feature. When I hover over their Sentiment in the conversation bar it says 'deeply in love, enamoured sentiment'. They don't have romantic or alluring traits, I'm pretty sure it's the Sentiment that's causing this and it didn't happen until this feature was added.

Zero has a mod that tones down the sentiment mood buffs. I don't know if it will help with your issue but if you're not opposed to using mods maybe you could give it a try? It's happened a lot even pre sentiments. I've seen few nannies being very flirty while babysitting. In one of my save a male nanny was flirty the whole time he was babysitting a toddler. He talked to her flirtatiously and when the little girl went to sleep he creeped in her bedroom and sat on her bed being very flirty. It was disturbing. :#
Needless to say he got fired immediately when the parents got home.
