Sims returning from work mid-shift

In both cases I can't send them back to work.

I had that happen, but I just repaired my game and it seemed to fix it. Have you tried doing that?

I have repaired it since the issue began, though for a different reason, but there was no change to this issue.

Hmmm, other than maybe moving your Sims out/back in again I don't know of anything else to help. Maybe @rosemow could give some advice?

I still don't understand though why my caterer sim (sometimes) returns from work after 1 hour, when no other sims have travelled anywhere.

Try deleting the cache files and see if that helps

If the issue remains, you could try having your sim quit their job. Then have them join the career again and see if that helps. You can use career cheats to bring the sim back up to the career level that they were on.

I am having not the same but a similar issue where a Sim in a household is at home while everyone else is either or both at work and school. When the Sim at home decides to travel off lot, to say, a community lot, it causes the Sim(s) at work and or at school to come home. Not travel with said Sim, they just end up being at home. Have repaired game several times and taken out mods folder.
