Base game 'plain but pretty' has a black swatch. There's several patterned ones, the ones that immediately come to mind came with Vampires. I recently remembered to start filtering by colour and it's been a life saver.
Yes, but it also has floor moulding. I just want plain solid color.- Black isn't a thing in this game. Look at the "black" haircolor.

Yeah, I know, right? Even the black tiles for roof patterns look brown in the daylight. So weird.- RouenSimsSeasoned TravelerCC items usually have the same problem. I read a tutorial on making CC that said you shouldn't use actual black when making black clothing, but instead use really dark brown or really dark grey or something. It explained why a lot of CC isn't quite black, but it kind of annoys me. Sometimes I just want actual black. I mean, I'm not asking for Vantablack or anything, but true black can be really nice sometimes.

Plus the not quite black, but near black, black for all clothing. - It drives me nuts. The colors are outdated. No black is a problem.
I would like to see some warm autumn colors, but all I see is cold and flat colors that don't really stand out. - I iactually found an in-game pattern that worked (apparently one can filter by color and I never realized it). I believe it was called "A Concrete Idea" or something of the like. It had both white and black so the textures stayed the same.
- Ugh, most of the blacks in this game are basically just a super dark brown too. It drives me nuts. Spa Day has some true black swatches that I use frequently, and Spooky Stuff has a few but they all have patterns. I gave up on using the Vampires swatches unless I'm using wood flooring to match the moldings.
Don't even get me started on the furniture swatches. Why does EVERYTHING have to have brown accents/legs, or just no basic black/white swatch! I don't mind having patterns and stuff, but just give us basic colored swatches with everything - like how they did the base game doors :'( - sallycutecatSeasoned Novice

If you use platforms you can raise them by 1 or 2 and it will hide the floor mouldings.
