Yeah, I know, right? Even the black tiles for roof patterns look brown in the daylight. So weird.

Plus the black for one piece of clothing is not the same as the black for another piece of clothing. Not even close.
I know black and white are difficult to shade, so I understand that they're not using pure black/white. It wouldn't look that good.
But yes, I've also wanted a proper black wall colour. Same with roof pattern. I keep looking for that, but of course can't find it. Wonder if I should just make them myself.
