I don't recommend death by fire or electrocution, unless you want to torture the sims he lives with. Ghosts that died from fire tend to set fire to things at random, and ghosts that die from electrocution can mess up your electronics.
But then again, I'm assuming you want to keep his ghost around. If you want to just release his spirit and not have him keep haunting you, then his method of death may not matter.
