"Start with empty worlds" option?

I would love to be able to start a new game with all worlds completely empty, I like to build my own neighborhoods meaning creating all lots and the sims living there myself.
And it is incredibly tedious to delete all the lots (cant even empty a lot from map view).
Also starting the 15th new game with the same lots and premades/townies arround gets old fast....
So I think such a feature to either start empty or empty worlds with the click of one button would be handy, or at the very least let us be able to delete a lot from map view.
  • I would love this! Even though I made myself a custom template save with all residential lots and only one lot each of certain venues to use. Almost all the premades are gone as well. Just the Sages (two of which are my makeovers), the Vatores, plus my makeover Vlad, and that's it for premades. All other Sims are my own Sims put in purposely to be not-in-world and act as 'workers' and friends/partners for whoever I'm actively playing in that particular save.

Not many know this, but we actually could bulldoze from Manage Worlds when the game was first released. At some point they took away that option though. I'd love to know why, I can't think of a good reason. :|

I actually have made 6 different Game Saves with 6 different timelines & had to completely change most of my worlds except unfortunately the City.
    My 6 Game Saves are:
    1. Prehistoric
    2. Ancient Civilization
    3. Dark Ages to Medieval
    4. Georgian to Ragtime
    5. Roaring 20s to Awesome 80s
    6. Futuristic 2525 & Beyond
It only took me about 2 years to do this. :p

Maybe their sense of creativity was bruised by so many players destroying all of their hard work? I've read a number of threads where people are totally remaking the towns. I'm glad they finally gave us NewCrest (I know it's spelled with a small c, but I like the ascetics of this spelling). In one of my game Save, my Main Save, NewCrest is the hub. Nightclubs, concert venues, eateries and a Medical Clinic (courtesy of Private Practice). I you haven't guessed already, my Global superstar is in this save. He's a Rock Star and currently is working his way through the Acting Career.

I would love it, if they gave us more blank neighborhoods such as NewCrest, to do our own thing with it. I tried once to create a template, but forgot to do the Save As … after I plopped the family into the save. Face/palm. All those hours of work blown up in one careless moment. Ah, me.

Being I can't cultivate the neighborhood to my choosing and what I mean is I can't add lots or edit the sizes I like this option as I really do not use pre-made sims and this cuts down my work to delete them.
  • Search for empty saves. I have one that there are absolutely no sims in any of the worlds and all lots are empty.

But, the save I have is from a few packs back so it doesn't have the latest worlds and I haven't looked recently for an updated one.

I wish I could show pictures of my different timeline worlds, unfortunately my PC rejects any & all Mods, CCs & MCCs.
However, I've been saving my different timeline lots & sims in the Gallery under SEREFRAS if anyone is interested. I only use my pack/kit collection for my Sims 4. ;)

Yeah, not saving can be a disaster as I done what you did at times.
  • That's a pretty good idea. Even if there was a way to bulldoze all of the current neighbourhood lots in one go, that would be helpful. We could plop down starter houses as we liked, or do a bit more detailed builds in higher value lots.
