Enable the Autonomy Scan, then click anywhere on the floor. Pick Autonomy Commands, then Search all Autonomous Interactions. Type in the search and disable the interactions you don't want your sims to do. Like an example, I hate it when sims complain about stuff all the time (like the Sunny Weather...what...?), so I typed in Complain, and disabled everything I didn't want. I do this for all annoyances.

@KiniHokulani I agree with everything! haha What is it with those coffee tables, anyway? They will go across the entire house or lot just to put stuff on a coffee table, when there is PLENTY of available table/counter/whatever space where they are.

@jimbbq Crossing fingers! And MCCC is a must-have. I can't imagine playing without mods, tbh. I'd have given up the game long time ago :D

I tell my sim kids to shovel snow it builds responsibility. Adults gain fitness. I haven't noticed them doing it excessively though. Same with the water. They grab water autonomously but not excessively. They always do after working out. They definitely don't drink as often as I do during the day! And you can sell the glass for 1 simoleon :D

I've had some Sims interrupt whatever they're cooking, just to watch TV. And it happens with every meal they cook!

Though in my current saves, it didn't happen anymore.

I've had sims get up in the middle of the night to shovel snow. I'm over it. I'm shutting off snow and temperature. it's not just shoveling. It's the snow angels too and them walking around the house in their winter clothes. I don't understand why they didn't incorporate sims changing back into everyday wear once they go inside. It's really annoying.

Do a search for "sink" too, as there is at least one (the same one that made MY sims grab water obsessivly again) which is something along the lines of (let me grab my tuner file.....)

I'm fine with sims shoveling snow on their lot but when they run all the way on the other side of town I have an issue.

I believe I used a dedicated one from Mod The Sims, but I seem to have removed it and now use MCCC Tuner instead. Its brilliant.

I just used mccc to remove it but it didn’t work. :(

If you have MCCC mod you can turn it off with the autonomy scan thing in the tuner setting. I turned it off and it's been such a blessing.

@Sharonia I tried with mccc I can’t make it work. I thought I managed to turn off grab water off the sink (another annoying thing ) but they still go grab water anyway. For snow I can’t even see the option to turn it off :(
