Stuck Sims?! Help
Just wondering if anyone else is having an issue where if you give your sim a task they just stand there and nothing happens.
ie. get mail, go here, etc

Open the cheat console, type testingcheats true and hit enter. If you shift-click in your sim now, a menu comes up. Somewhere in this is the option to "reset object". That should give you back control of your sim.
Tried it, it didn't work for me.

I don't know of a reliable fix, but you can try moving your sims to a different lot. And keep an eye on that bug thread for updates.
Hello, I've tried some of the resolution in the link, such as disabling Laundry Days and Eco Life Style, fixing the game, re-downloading and installing the game, switching to other families and lots. None of these worked. I don't know what else can be done to fix it.
I have tried evicting, moving, all the above to get this as a fix... i cant get nothing to work.
It happens a lot for me and usually clears up if I open & close the options menu... not that that is a fix.
yes me too. seems to happen after i come out of build mode.
I'm having this issue as well. I've removed all the mods and started a new game file, and still having this problem.
I don't have any mods or CC .. not sure what could be causing this. It is so frustrating? HAs anyone come up with a solution yet?
I just want to play my game :( Hope they have a solution soon
I found a way to finally get my game back to normal! Sims no longer stop or freeze, they can interact normally. After adding the mod, there is no error in using it for the time being. It is also possible to save the archive successfully.
All you need to do is find the location of your game, find the [Delta] folder, copy the DLC folder you have in it, paste it into [The Sims 4] folder, and replace the duplicate files. Once you enter the game, everything is normal.
Of course, you better back up the [The Sims 4] folder before trying it out, in case that doesn't work for you.
You said "after you add the mod" What mod are you talking about?
All the mods that I used before, functional mods such as MC Center. And others hair, clothes, makeup mods.
Happens to me on occasion, I queue actions and they just stand there... Super annoying! What I find (usually) helps is to pause my game (by pressing 0) and then resume it again - that usually kick starts the action queue 😃
Frequently. Some households more than others. But I am constantly using the resetsim cheat... sigh. It's a pain.
