I agree with you that teens need much more fleshed out! As for prom, I've managed to have one by setting up a temporary club with my teens. I prepared the lot with decorations, music, a place for them to take photos, and the fountain from luxurious parties so they could have punch and eat? It's been awhile but I think it went pretty well!
