But I also desperately want horses in the game (had a dream about it last night lol) so I’m extremely biased.
Same, I've been going back and playing RDR2 again. I basically just play that game as Horse Simulator. I just want my Sims character to be able to have a horse and bond with it already. I'm sick of always trying to make sure I leave a slot free in the household just in case horses suddenly come out.
2019 was also when people found horse code in the game:

Maybe it's more of a countryside life EP than farming? 'Bond with nature' definitely makes me think some sort of animal's coming - you don't really 'bond' with anything else - but I'm not sure which I think yet. I'm a little torn, because there are so many horse breeds out there and so much potential interaction, I think they would be limited by squeezing them in an EP alongside farming. But on the other hand, I love Shire horses, and I can't think of anything better than putting heavy horses in a farming pack, so they can do the work they're actually good at.
In a way I hate speculating, because I fall in love with every idea I come up with, and they can't all be in the same pack (given the past track record of Sims 4 DLC). But on the other hand, if the features I love aren't in the game, this period of dreaming is all I'll ever have!
