Townie is Weirdo Question
I want to turn my designated Landlord into a playable character. Do they have a special is "weirdo" trait that keeps them from aging? I had a list a while back but I cannot find it.

Do the landlords get replaced with a new one after the old one becomes a family member? In one save the landlord is quite cute and one of my Sims there has taken a shine to him. I am planning on having him move in but I have been a bit vary.

Yeah, if you add a Landlord, or any of the NPC careers, to your household, they lose the career and a new NPC is generated to fill that role in the game.
The hidden traits for Landlords are:
traits.equip_trait trait_isRepair
traits.equip_trait trait_Hidden_Landlord
careers.add_career career_Adult_NPC_Landlord
I have never tried adding those traits to a Sim I was playing. I dunno if it would blow up the game, lol. If you try it, I would recommend doing it in a Test Save and see what happens. ;)
The hidden weirdo trait is a totally different designation. That is applied to the Sims that wander around the City later in the evening and are wearing even weirder attire than the rest of the walkbys. :p But I do think both of these traits do make the Sims immortal.

Ahh ok so I think there is a way to remove the trait. I think @rosemow told me how a while back. I tried to find the old conversation but couldn't.

Hmm, idk but it's a hit and miss with those traits really. I've had more than a few city weirdos be immortal, but I don't start noticing them until it's been a generation or two later and they still look young as ever. The same is also true sometimes for registered food stall vendors as well. As for city repairmen and landlords, I've only seen them gradually age and die for me. I guess becoming one with the city makes you immortal!
