A rarity in my game, since I make sure to disable CC for random, but townies like to dress a hot mess. Though, I found this gal walking down the street and was surprised on how cute a face she had, but she was dressed in her job outfit (pizza girl). Actually since the last patch, I've found a more reasonable dress code at the festivals, sans geek festival. I still see an occasional turban or two but overall, the townies, NPCs aren't too bad, thank heaven. I was even so desperate I was throwing them into MC CAS right and left to keep my eyes from bleeding. :D Even the street walkers have decent outfits on.

I still see a couple of weirdish career outfits - but less weird than the really weird stuff that use to burn my eyes out of my skull.

I have no love for my townies. I can make the prettiest or most handsome sim possible and he or she always ends up with someone who looks like they take punches to the face for a living

Before I start a game, I get rid of all of the undesirables - residents and townies through manage worlds. The Pancakes, the Munches, the free spirits... yuck. The uggos find their way back into the game at times and I still go in and delete every now and again but because I've put in so many attractive Sims, I don't have to stomach awful townies as often.

I started a legacy recently, the pizza girl and the postie looked very similar to the one you pictured above, and I had a couple of attractive, well dressed teens go past my front door too, from "not in world families". Needless to say, my bachelor Sim quickly befriended them to stop culling and was most relieved when their families moved into his neighborhood (her Mom wasn't bad either!).

When she aged up (ok, this is seriously creepy behaviour, but it's just a game remember) he immediately moves her in and gets to work on the romance. Teen #2 is kept on as an "arranged marriage" for his heir.

With all of this scandalous partner hunting done, i stopped paying attention a while until i saw a pair of young adults taking selfies outside my lot. Normal service has been resumed, the Dude had black skin, left parting comb over with sideburns, a suit jacket, hot pants and was wearing cowboy boots. His love interest was a white woman with a ginger mohican , enormous spectacles, a vest top, underwear only below, and pink heels. Both were extremely fat.

I can only conclude that in successive patches, the Sim population has been seeded with families Maxis have liked from the Gallery, but if you play long enough these run out and you're back to the good old Random Number Generator.

I need two more points to become a full member so i can actually show you pictures of this horror show.

Okay wow, that's crazy because I have that EXACT same mail lady in my game! With the same hairdo and all! She ultimately married J Huntington II and they have a beautiful daughter together. Don't have pics right now, but I'll add them as soon as I get into the game. :)

Man, my townies are all trainwrecks until I CAS them... I think the best dressed (and best generated) townie I ever had was this teenage criminal way back in 2016 named Aiden Linder. He had this perfect smarmy rich kid vibe going on LOL

His other outfits were pretty swell aside from his party wear which was... Well, we all can't be neon cowboys, and Aiden couldn't pull that look off even if he wanted to. Thank God I figured out how to disable CC for townies after having my eyes burn for a year and a half, though the horrible CC townie fashion still lives on with aliens on Sixam. But it's okay when my aliens do it, because they're aliens and don't know how to human anyway.

Oh yeah, Aiden is married now. ...And he wears pants now too, because adults wear pants.

This isn't random though this is just what sims who get the tourist label wear when they're in SM.

It's because not much content is flagged for aliens so when something is, there's no choice but to wear it.

I'd love to see how this family turned out. It was a tough choice, but ultimately my founder decided to wait for the brunette teenager to age up and chose her instead. Had the founder Sim drink a potion of youth on her birthday so they can age up together from now on

Their son aged up to teen with a bit of a "dad bod", especially compared to his parents! He lived life on fast forward a bit, I played with the rule that when kids reach A grade they can have a birthday cake, I wanted to age him up ASAP so he could marry the redhead teen

I've never had a problem with how the townies dress, good or otherwise. I play pure vanilla, no mods or cheats or CC or any of that. The more odd a townie dresses, the more quirky and amusing they are to me. I don't think I've ever come across a townie I couldn't stand to look at, for whatever reason.

If I don't like a townie, it's because of their personality, or how they act. Some of them can be obnoxious, lol.
