University Difficulty

So the first time I sent a sim to college it was ridiculously hard. Gave schooling a break and now her daughter is in college but it’s ...easier now? Could that have something to do with the genius trait I gave her as a toddler?

Don't worry. Just remember that normal degree is enough to experience university, but distinguished degree is better.

Do you find it easier to study and live on the university campus? :)

It is easier to attend university events. Plus there are class rabbitholes nearby, so sims can tudor to earn some money and attend skill classes and guest lectures (and attend office hours). Plus there is a sports arena where sims can see football and e-sports matches.

So the answer to the original question is that the OP had their sim work harder in class. Case closed. Now then, let's continue sharing tips to make the university easier, shall we?
  • I haven't played a sim through university in a while cause the game play is repetitive and bores me but last time I did I used a mod to shorten homework time by 50%. It makes a big difference when they don't take half the day up just doing their daily homework assignments.
  • My sims tend to be always late for class no matter if living in Brichester or one of the other worlds - is there an option to send them to class early? I know some sims will automatically go early.
