washing getting wet in the rain

Question

Now I know this is normal and for one family I built an extension so they could dry it on the wash lines, I just knocked part of the wall down so I could place the washing line. I just tried the large wooden shelter thing, and placed the wash line under that, but when the washing was dry they get the wearing dirt clothes discomfort. My question is, has anyone found a way to dry clothes outside in the rain. covered??

Emm..I hardly let my Sims use the washing line... Most of the time, they use their dryers... Probably you just have the roof covered so the mud might splash to the cloths... But, it seems interesting... I might try and look for the solutions...  :)

So no one has a solution either. do you all dry your washing in the dryers??

Are you sure the clothes were properly clean when you put them to dry? If the moodlet was about dirty clothes then it sounds like they did dry but needed a second wash, as sometimes the first isn't enough.

I'm sure it was because they got rain water soaked. my new family I have put the dry line under a green house roof, a large one, along with toddler play equipment, I haven't played long enough yet to know if it works.

One of my sim's clothes got a little used while drying in the snow (I know it sounds stupid but I had no other option ...)
But it was probably because it took days and days to dry, and not the snow itself ? It wasn't dirty in any case.

I have other families with clotheslines but rain has not been an issue that I recall. I'll playtest it next time.
