Well, that was quick...
I just finished the story and I’m not really impressed. I love the background story and what it could have been but I feel like the execution just wasn’t there. The story itself seemed pretty short to...

It's almost a rip-off. I expect three things to happen for those who bought this EP:
- Some people will say it was a waste of money, it was short and anti-climatic and will be bored to death.
- Some people will enjoy it, mainly for the town and other little extras.

And some people will enjoy it for the whole package. The mystery, the town, the career, the build/buy, the CAS, the interactive objects, and all the new possibilities. :)
I agree, it makes me think of many things besides the mystery as well. I love the military career. Because of their new socials and the way militaries progress in their careers, I really want to make a military base for example. I'm just not too sure yet I can build one ? I'd just love to do it. You could even send the whole base or groups of soldiers off on a Jungle Adventure (which would allow me to rent the large explorers' rental for the first time). And yeah, before Strangerville I never really thought of playing anything quite like this. I can still see why some won't like it but, at least for me, it offers enough tools I can use in my own way, and not only through playing the story.
