What is in the 5th trait slot?

Lifetime wish making a return maybe? I kind of want a fear or flaw though, it would add depth.

I really hope it’s zodiac signs at the moment it’s so odd you make a family and everyone ageis up on the same day at least with Zodiac signs we can have a gap between birthdays.

I wonder how zodiac signs could work. Traits in TS4 are already a replacement for the TS1 and TS2 personality points which directly influenced a Sim's zodiac sign.

I have a feeling that we might be getting lifetime wishes or at least a long term goal. Each aspiration could have multiple lifetime wishes to them (which is why the node is connected to the aspiration) and you could chose one in CAS and once it's settled you can't change it ever, like the aspiration-specific trait that doesn't change even if you change the aspiration later.

I'm excited to see what they are coming up with, anything to give Sims in TS4 more personality is always welcomed :p

Isn't that something we can already assign in CAS when creating a sim?

We can select whether they can impregnate/be pregnant. Those settings, as far as I know, don't affect preference/orientation. While it would be far from a true trait, I'd like the idea of having a clear way to determine a sim's preference.

My too - I don't believe in them IRL and I'd not like them being another arbitrary effect in the game. "Oh you like because of . Even worse would be "we'd be a good couple because of signs". Please, no. That's what traits, lifestyles, and possibly wants/fears (if they implement such a system) should do.

Someone mentioned hobby affinity, or inclination, which I suppose could work if the next GP is a hobby pack. It'll come in a bg update though so I can't personally see it working well without a pack to expand on it.

Perhaps a talent tab? Like, maybe increases skill gain for certain skills based on talent? I suppose that could work since virtually everyone learns skills at an equal pace? It could work if we get an active burglar career in this GP (which I'm hoping for but its more likely not it) and you get more talented at being stealthy? More successful at completing heists? Just a thought.

Since it has something to do with the GP the only thing that would make sense to me is that we’re going to be able to pick hobbies now. Maybe? I think it’s going to work like CL lot traits patch where they released some base game ones and then they had pack specific ones once City Living released.

as much as i occult i dont like zodiac cause you can be zodiac x and have complete opposite personality to its stereotypical behavior and also id have to go change bunch of premades which is siiiiigh

It could be gender preference or just another trait slot so Sims can have more traits. I do wish it's fears or horoscopes slot.
