What MWS features are restricted to wedding events?

I have not grabbed the pack yet as I hardly have time playing these days, will get MWS when my RL gets back to normal. Meanwhile I wonder what event features of the pack are not restricted to wedding events or can they be used say at any party? Like at a global star's fan greeting event and in a regular club?

There is a bottle of sparkling nectar, right? Meant for toasts to the wed couple? Can it be used any time at all, or must thee be an ongoing wedding? I like objects that can be used and where I simply imagine the occasion without directions from the object's pie menu.

The wedding cakes can hopefully be served even if there is no wedding? Is it only the "feed each other cake" functionality that is restricted to weddings? Are toppers available at all times?

The dancing I understand can be enjoyed anytime.

Is the new flower accessory on chest available on any outfit, or is it restricted in any way?

Are all functionality re the buffet table(s) available regardless of a event/no event? Can I use them also on community lots like restaurants/lounges?

Any other event objects that will work fine say on community lots when no wedding is taking place?

  • Everything you specifically asked about is available outside of wedding events.
Honestly, the only thing I've found to be specifically locked to the events are the "First Kiss" and the the various "Get Married" interactions.

    Thaks!

Uhm, first kiss can no longer be done outside weddings? I would understand it if woohoo was harder before becoming a steady couple/wed even, but in my book the first kiss belongs to one of the first dates...?

Anyway, I don't think Judith plan a lot of kissing during her fan meet & greets :)

Added: Is it even possible to use the champagne on residential lot for everyday toasting to yourself? Or will there need to be someone else to toast to? (*asking for Judith*)
  • @Simmerville, I said "first kiss" but that was a brain fart. I meant "Spousal kiss" or something like that. I forgot the exact name the game uses it. Basically it's the game's "You may Kiss the bride" moment, though you can change when and where it occurs like most other things you customize.
Sorry for the confusion, brain farts are a thing when you get old.

It's been a week or so since I had a wedding in my game, but there's a similiar special dance option at the wedding/wedding reception for the couple to dance. I don't remember the name of that either. I didn't mention it originally though because as far as I could see, it doesn't have any special or unique animations just a unique name on the dance floor pie menu.
  • @Stormkeep Ha, I understood what the kiss was about right after posting my comment - just lazy me forgot going back to adjust my question. Anyway, such a kiss should definitely be restricted to weddings :)
  • What is this? new flower accessory on chest And where do I find it, please. I wanted boutonnières for the men and it would be nice for the Moms to have corsages, too.

If it's an option in CAS, I surely overlooked it. Par for the course these days.
  • @GalacticGal I found both under necklaces in CAS. Noticed it yesterday while making some sims for a game I am planning.

Thank you. Now I understand my strange delay in getting to Saturday in my game. LOL Must be a prescient moment, so I could have the parents properly decked out. Thank YOU

ETA: I just took the familes of the groom and bride (I was already in the groom's house) into cas.fulleditmode.) I realize. now why I didn't see them — I THOUGHT they were more tattoos! Glad I went ahead and tried them anyway.
