I actually rarely use cheats though I do use MCCC pretty regularly. Mostly to make the game more challenging for me or to bypass annoying unimmersive things like the stupid calorie system.
I think these are my two most used vanilla cheats:
freerealestate on - Because I kinda hate it all being so homogeneous with their starting location. Also since I'm a hopeless builder and regularly use the Gallery for the lots, it's pretty rare to hit the 20 000 simeleons mark. I very well might use MCCC to then lower their funds after they move in but I just like my starting locations to be flexible.
headlineeffects off - I take tons of screenshots and don't like visual clutter in them.
Then there's also a very specific one which I keep on my notes because there's been multiple occasions with invisible stuck Grudge sentiments (i.e. sim acts aggressive towards other for no apparent reason and no sentiments are shown in character panel). This is the command to fix it with:
modifyrelationship jane doe john doe* -100 sentimentTrack_Bitter_LT_grudge
*Replace names with actual sim names.
