Which traits are so disappointing that it's not worth using them?

I mean traits that just don't do what reasonably should be expected of them to do.  For example the lazy trait. It just gives sims a negative moodlet while they actively do things, but does not prev...

For dogs, I hate the couch potato trait. Yeah, fine, be lazy and nap all day if you want. But when I want my Sim to play with the dog, a dumb ? bubble shows above its head and they don't play. 

It's especially inconvenient when a dog has both the couch potato and playful traits and still my Sim can't play with them.

In my experience, the dog with couch potato trait also still demands "go for a walk/jog" on regular intervals. I specifically chose the couch potato trait to dodge the "walk" requirement but it didn't work as I expected.
