Honestly the only thing I ever liked about them, was that you could sell them for $1000 in TS3.

I really like the tradition where you have to appease or destroy them. This could be adapted to so many things.

I think it's an interesting feature really and reminds me of that silliness in the sims games. Of course if you don't want the gnomes there you can just remove them from the holiday and not even have to deal with them. I like them but at the same time they kinda weird me out a bit.

Least that one eeeeeeeeeeeeevilll gnome isn't there like in sims 3 just being near your bed WATCHING you sleep. He's so dang eevvveeeel.

The gnomes are scary little buggers and I'm assuming the general player won't use them often. As some others have stated, I also would've preferred the team skipping the gnomes and spending more time on the rain and snow.

Actually, the whole kicking thing and incurring their wrath has my attention. I never cared about gnomes before this. I'm intrigued...

No, but I don't hate them. I just don't play with the more unrealistic elements of the sims (aliens, vampires, that sort of thing). I think they'll be a fun little challenge for those who want them, just not for me. :)

Not me. They will not be a part of any of my holidays. I see no fun in my house being destroyed, due to some random possessed lawn ornaments.

They're great. Gnome rampages are the bane of every Sims gardener.

There should be an action that if you are especially nice to them they do the washing up! :p
