you can also make a vampire hunter if you want (i have one, named mina harker). just get a non-vampire to max level in vampire lore and they'll know how to create the vampire cure. also just know that unless you use a mod, you will always have vampires in your game. it will create 4 new random vampires any time you have fewer than 4 of them

Or you can, you know, invite him over, get him into a room, lock the door so your sim can escape, start a fire (either by fireworks or campfire) and let him burn to death. Then he cannot send new vampires text messages explaining about the life state!
