- texxx785 years agoSeasoned Ace@elanorbreton before the patch i had to download Zero's mod almost immediatelly, right when the mod was available. After the patch i took out all mods and played for a few days without mods, as i usually do. I actually haven't felt the need for this mod anymore... it takes something like a day or two for the first dust and bunnies to appear, but then it evolves much slower than before. Before i used to clean the house to perfection and in a few hours it was used, a few hours more and it was dirty and some more hours and it was filthy. Now it takes days in between each stage.
About BtD, in this pack while i love the system and i almost can't remember how i played before with always perfect homes without never getting dirty (i love the cozy feeling of the houses in the first stages of dust acumulation), this is a pack in which i have changed a lot with mods. Vacuum autonomy is completelly unbalanced imo, so im using a mod (also Zero's) that gives us the option to just mop the floor using the mop that sims already use to clean water in the floor. So i don't deal with the vacuum autonomy. I just click the floor and choose "mop slighly" or similar and it does the exact same effect as vacuums. And i don't have to buy any equipment... I don't care that i don't use the vacuums that came with the pack. What im most in love is with the system, with the cozy and human feeling that used houses have... ❤
I also have taken out the inspired moodlet with a Zero's mod. And i have a few more BtD mods that i can't even remember anymore what they were for... - elliebreton5 years agoLegend@Mstybl95 @texxx78 well, that's bizarre how it differs so much. And in my rotation I play a couple of days per household and haven't seen a speck of dust or as much as a bunny tail... all is clean and sparkly.

@elanorbreton the first time i think it takes almost a week for the first dust to show up...
ETA i mean, first dust after the patch. - atreya335 years agoLegendA toggle per household would have been better. I expected a similar toggle like laundry day, but that didn't happen.
another option I would have liked would be to disable the buffs that come with the pack, basically only keep the chores and not the rewards like the constant inspired mood in clean houses. "calaprfy;c-17852971" wrote:

@elanorbreton Try playing a week per household. You will see dust then. I've noticed in my game that if I rotate away from a dusty lot, when I return it's still dusty.
I also thought that having sims throw away the dustpiles that appear may slow down the dust accumulation but it seems not so.
I play a week per house and I did leave some of the houses dusty, which made the next house already have dust bunnies in them when I rotated to them. That makes sense why I'm seeing dust everywhere.- texxx785 years agoSeasoned AceI have to say my experience has been playing with one only household. I haven't been playing in rotation lately...

- logionX5 years agoLegendWhy did they add dust to community lots? I really don't understand that decision, is it so that you can pretend to be cleaning staff?

Right...so not only do my sims clean up their own dishes at a restaurant, but now they have to vacuum it, too!- Joanne_Snow5 years agoLegend

I've not seen it."logion;c-17853047" wrote:

My sim was energised so I sent him to the gym. While he was there, another sim pulled out a vacuum, cleaned to perfection, and....my sim was then taken over by the inspired moodlet.
Ok thanks for letting me know
