Windows bug since patch

Question

Although I love the ability to stack windows, since the update I've been unable to use the arched doors and windows. They appear only as an outline in the wall. I've also been getting random messages about how a window "must be placed on a wall" (not exact wording). Has anyone else had these issues?

I've had one door I was not able to place even with the moveobjects cheat.

I'm having the same problems with my windows and doors, plus I get the "must be placed on a wall" message when trying to put a fireplace on a diagonal wall.
