If I can enjoy Salvadoradian culture while on vacation, why not Sulani? I really want my sims to have a proper beach VACATION. And at the same time Id like some of my sims to be able to live on the island. I know people are gonna say that Sulani should strictly remain a residential world. And I understand that if thats what you want for YOUR gameplay and YOUR stories that you wanna tell. Me though? I already have ideas in mind for a tourist trap retail lot. If we ever get a hotel GP, both of my eyes are on Sulani for a resort.
- I am too fond of Brindleton Bay to live anywhere else, so I would have definitely prefered it as a vacation world.
My sims would be able to visit for longer than a few hours. - Absolutely not. I love it just the way it is. It is great just playing the native families and their culture and getting away from regular sims play and businesses etc. I did not add any venue that is in the other worlds just to keep it unique and more natural - for civilization time forgot more or less kind of story. It fits well with merfolks theme also.

Would have been better as a destination world. Not a whole lot to do when living there
Except for exactly everything you can do anywhere else. Well except building snowmen, I guess.
What good is an expansion if you have to have other expansions to make it enjoyable?? Don’t even bother answering that question it’s rhetorical.- I personally think it could've been both. A vacation spot as well as somewhere to live. With more lots though

I'm going to answer anyway, because I find the idea of someone only using the interactions and activities that came with a specific pack in a specific world... interesting.
Am I to understand you never threw a birthday party in Windenburg, since that interaction didn't come with that pack? Or go to the gym? Or never painted or wrote a book in San Myshuno? - I would like it to be both. To have a choice would have been nice.
- jojoMOMSTER7 years agoSeasoned AceI would like to be able to toggle any lot in the game to residential or rental though
- I was just thinking about this actually. I love that sims can live there, much prefer it to a vacation world. But I really wish sims could vacation there, like have a vacation home and then still be able to go to their real home. I also wish hotels were included in this pack, really liked that in the other Sims games. Island Living has so much to it though, that I can live with the way it is. I'll probably try that rental loophole though lol
