If you asked me a couple of years ago, I would have said absolutely to having world packs. My opinion is that I actually like stuff packs and I have most of them. They aren't expensive IMO and I've tended to get them here and there. There are still a few that I haven't gotten around to yet but I've mostly liked them even if the themes are a bit strange.
In terms of worlds, I agree that I generally like having more lots and neighborhoods. I also like having gameplay integrated in certain ways so that the worlds are interactive. I'm fine with them coming in GPs or EPs but I agree that they should be bigger with more going on.
Del Sol Valley has too few residential lots IMO even though I'll play it. I have to essentially expel the pre-mades in order to play it and then it will be hard to develop a community feel in either of the residential neighborhoods. Sure, I renovated a house into a family house where parents have moved their kids who will probably grow up to pursue fame but they don't really have neighbors who live near them and they'll be capped at three households in that neighborhood. It just limits you a bit. I get it that the world revolves around celebrities but it would be nice to have a bit more flexibility.
I actually like StrangerVille but I would actually like a couple more lots there. I understand that it's a small town and I want to keep it that way. I'd like to upgrade the downtown without taking out the quirky plane crash or the few houses. I could build up by the rich people but again I'd like a little more flexibility.
I'd be interested in a community voted world pack if they went in that direction or in polling of ideas to produce future worlds. If really well developed worlds came in edition to new stuff, I'd be interested. I'm fine with the SP concept but I think they could go in a new direction with themes.
I am still interested in some new worlds, I basically always get them and find them interesting. If they want to patch in another world like Newcrest, I'd be a fan.
