This was a thread on the old Vanilla forums a VERY long time ago, and I thought that I'd bring it back again!
I won't be dogmatic but, can we please keep replies to one line? Feel free to post often, though!
Okay, I'll start:
You've played the Sims 4 too much when you keep looking for plum bobs above everyone's heads
When you watch a movie or show & think, "I wonder if I can build that in my Sims 4"
Also when you have to choose between 2 movies and think to yourself " okay this one might have building inspo for henford I'll watch that first"
Also when you take your walk around your block and think, oooh that would look good in my sims house. Or ohhh look a garden just like in the sims...
I do this all the time!!!😄

When have to change clothes at the beach clumsily with a towel around and you want to spin around once and be ready
When you are out for a day and want some rest, you think 'wouldn't it be convenient if I had a bike, a radio, 10 books, a chair, and 3 cooked meals,.. ready in my pockets (inventory) at all times '
This one really make laugh! If only rofl.
...When you are out on a drive and pass a cool house, and you stop to take pictures of the outside from different angles so that you can build it in The Sims - not dangerous At All!
When you wake up from a dream (the ones you remember when you wake up) and you could swear you were in your sim house in live form. I wasnt sure the first time it happened to me but it happened to me again yesterday, and it was more vivid, little too much tbh. Mind you I had spent two days building a ranch (in game ofc) !
When you , after talking with your neighbor for 10minutes about, think now your social bar is green, can be hermit for rest of the day.🙂
I mostly think that caused me too many tense moodlets and now I really need to take a bath
When you think that you can prepare and cook a meal in real life as quick as sims can in the game. 🙂
when you greet someone irl saying, "Sul Sul!"
When someone asks you to list all languages you speak and you include Simlish.
While you’re mopping up the mess on the kitchen floor you think to yourself, “But my sim never makes a mess when she tosses the mixing bowl in the air.”
When you feel like you are in a simulation and someone controls your life.
