[1.118] Inventories, fridges, bookshelves all empty on loading household

    Hi all,

    We've confirmed that the newly reported issue of items disappearing from inventory is related to outdated mods. To resolve the issue, please update your mods & load a previous save of your save file to recover your items.

Hi,

After a long break, I decided to come back to The Sims 4. The game updated correctly, but unfortunately, after entering gameplay, I noticed a serious bug: all the items from my Sims' inventories had disappeared.

What’s more, when I try to place new items into their inventories (for example, by purchasing or picking something up), those items also disappear shortly after. The issue affects all Sims in the household and keeps happening every time. This bug prevents me from completing certain tasks during events and makes regular gameplay very difficult.

    I'm assuming you have mods, as this is the only current known cause of this issue. Update MC Command Center. If you saved with your inventory/fridge/bookshelves empty, load an earlier version of the save. See Broken and Updated Mods and CC for other mods you might need to remove or update. You might also want to see How to Use Mods and CC about how to manage your mods when the game updates. On the unlikely chance that you are here as a console player or had an empty Mods folder when this started, please reply with an @ and let me know.
