[1.118] Inventories, fridges, bookshelves all empty on loading household

    Hi all,

    We've confirmed that the newly reported issue of items disappearing from inventory is related to outdated mods. To resolve the issue, please update your mods & load a previous save of your save file to recover your items.

Placing items in inventories makes the item disappear. The fridge, a sim, the stall you can sell things from. It’s making completing the current forever friends quest hard as I can’t travel to the sylvian glade with a stuffed animal since it won’t stay in my inventory.

I'm assuming you have mods, as this is the only current known cause of this issue (changing lots deletes inventory, bookcase contents, and fridge contents). Update MC Command Center. If you saved with your inventory/fridge/bookshelves empty, load an earlier version of the save. See Broken and Updated Mods and CC for other mods you might need to remove or update. You might also want to see How to Use Mods and CC about how to manage your mods when the game updates. On the unlikely chance that you are here as a console player or had an empty Mods folder when this started, please reply with an @ and let me know.
