@kdollasignnnn Ah yes sorry, I read that as High Sierra for some reason....!Move your whole Sims 4 folder to the desktop and then launch the game so a new one is created. Don't move any of your current data such as save and mods into the new folder. Start a new game and play for a bit through the seasons to see if it still happens.

@kdollasignnnn Sounds like it's a Mod causing the issue, it's not happening in a clean game. The only way to fix it is to figure out which Mod it is and remove it.This is not a Mac issue. Whilst your Mac specs are on the low side you should be able to play without the animation issue. Move your Mods into the new Mods folder created in the new Sims 4 folder in small batches, testing to see if it happens after adding each batch. Once it starts happening again you know the Mod causing the issue is in the last batch you added.Moving your thread onto the Game & Mods forum where people more familiar with Mods can help you. Mods are not platform specific so it doesn't matter whether you are on macOS or Windows.

Im having the same issue as the other person, almost 65% of the time my game gets stuck in a animation loop, my sim can be in an action & the time will freeze & my sim will continue stuck in that animation. it stops whenever i save the game or go to manage worlds but its still a consistent problem.

Im having the same issue as the other person, almost 65% of the time my game gets stuck in a animation loop, my sim can be in an action & the time will freeze & my sim will continue stuck in that animation. it stops whenever i save the game or go to manage worlds but its still a consistent problem.

DxDiag is for Windows. Have split your posts into a separate thread in the Mac forum.

Please provide all the info asked for in that link, there are gameplay questions which help with troubleshooting too.

You're running a very out of date version of macOS, you can update it in System Preferences. 10.13.6 was the last High Sierra version to be released although the current version is Ventura 13.2.1. Updating may help with the issue. If you need help with updating, Apple provide excellent help articles https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201541

My mac is updated to the latest version which is 13.2.1, also here are the gameplay questions asked:
1. Are you attempting to play the normal version of the game or the Legacy Edition? Normal version
2. Are you running any antivirus? No
3. Have you tried to repair the game in Origin? Right click on the game in My Games and select Repair Game. Yes I have, with and without my mods folder.
4. Do you use CC/Mods? If so, have you tried removing them and seeing if that fixes your problem? Yes, I've done that everything is updated and I've sorted through every possible problem.
5. How much storage is available on your internal drive? About This Mac > Storage 18.22 GB available of 250.69 GB
