Having this issue too. Better exceptions tells me it's UI mods including my font replacements, more cas columns, more traits in cas, ui cheats, menu screen mod I have to fix the fact that the menu screen was totally broken for me on its own months ago, and also TOOL, better build/buy. I just went and updated most of these mods as well before starting my game. Game also won't close, can't even force quit.
Editing to add I'm going to test out taking out each of the mods and seeing which causes the issue soon. I'm just so done with this game never working correctly I have to muster some extra strength and will to be able to do it 😭
