I had this issue as well after fully updating my game and mods. My better exceptions mod reported that it had to do with certain mods so I will soon be trying to muster the strength and will to test out which one is causing the issue.
These are the mods that could possibly be causing it:
- font replacement
- more cas columns
- ui cheats extension
- tool and better build/buy
- more traits in cas
- a menu screen mod i have from simmatically that i needed to get in order to fix my menu screen, which was bugged even without cc or mods in my game. lol
And these are all mods I find really essential to my gameplay so I am really, really hoping whatever the hell this is gets fixed soon. Hoping it's the font replacement one because I can live without it. Also, all these mods are up to date for me, I updated them right before loading up the game. Do you have any of these too?
I have 3 of those. Tool, better build/buy, and ui. Mine is doing the same as well. Tried to keep my game open so it wouldn’t do the update but it did it. I just took those 3 out plus mc command and this pregnant mod to see if it launches. I’m testing now I will tell you if it loaded or no
