  • All mods listed here were reported broken by the creator or were tested by me or a trusted tester.
  • MANY mods that WERE broken are updated! See below. Don't use ONLY this "broken" list! 
  • Many mods that aren't on this list, aren't updated, and aren't cleared are broken. For script mods for this patch, be suspicious of ANY script mod not updated or cleared.

    • Many script mods prevent household loading, but not ALL script mods do this. Many of the broken ones are listed here, with more being added regularly. Others are updated or cleared as compatible, so check those lists too. Consider using script mods only if they've been updated or cleared.

 

  • Main menu mods (not listed separately here; see Updated for some)
    • Re. Main menu background replacement mods with a LunarBritney requirement: LunarBritney has retired Main Menu Readjusted, which is a requirement for many main menu background replacement mods. These mods will work when there’s not an EA online background, and they will stop working when there isn’t. If you want to use main menu backgrounds that had LunarBritney’s as a requirement, you will sometimes need to remove them for a while. AFTER Sept 4, you can use LIJOUE's Main Menu override (see Updated) to enable main menu background replacement mods when there's an EA online background.

  • Mods and the Pack Selection System: Especially for injector mods, if you use mods and you change packs with the new checklist system, restart Sims 4 after pack selection changes before playing, even if not prompted to.

  • catdevpete – Plasma Fruit Recipes from TS4 foods – animations wrong/missing for Toddlers and Children eating fruit slices

  • sims4me (Bienchen) – Whim Overhaul – LEs if you don't remove packs you don't own
  • TwelfthDoctor1 – Teleport Memory System [TMS] – minor tuning issues that do not affect function
  • TwistedMexi – Better Exceptions – can’t be relied on at the moment to accurately point to mods causing the "takes 2 positional arguments but 3 were given" error. Read the actual LE text. (Of course, the broken script mod you’re looking for might already be in the broken or updated lists here!)
  • TwistedMexi – TOOL Mod (updated) – NOT working right with checklist pack selection (do note that you should restart after any pack selection if you use mods)
  • Zerbu – updated Simvestigations – NOT compatible with Better Exceptions
