Once again after an update my game is completely broken. I can’t even disable mods or CC. You’d think after all these years of updating, that they would figure out how not to break a game. When I go to open my game a window pops up with a bunch of wwwwwwww across the screen and a “claim” button at the bottom that I can’t even click. It makes me not want to even play anymore.

that’s exactly what the issue was with mine (thepancakes1 color sliders UI meant to work with the more columns mod), but for some reason the game crashes when attempting to load in every other time i open afterwards though :(

Had the same issue today yall and figured it out quite easy. All my cc is in sorted various folders, like one for clothes and one for hair etc... So, I have one for all my CAS stuff and once I moved that folder out the game worked. Don't know about you but for me it was (thepancakes1 color sliders UI) specifically the one meant to work with the more columns mod. So, it might be a UI CAS od of some kinds if you use those.

I was having an issue like this earlier as well. I was trying to test the mods folder (i started using mods recently). But even after I removed the mods folder, I couldn't get my game to load passed what I'm assuming was supposed to be this screen (it was just a shadow with an x in the corner). I repaired the game, nothing. I just finally moved my entire sims folder to my desktop and let the game start with a fresh one, and that is when it finally started working.
I am just now going through my mods to see which ones work and which ones don't. It will be a process which is kinda frustrating, but when you decide to use mods you have to accept that there is a risk.
In case anyone else uses mods like I do, I would try starting with a new sims folder and going from there. It will save a lot of frustration in the long run.
keishaplum84 I'm moving you into a thread for this UI error. Try renaming your Mods folder and deleting the localthumbcache file.
It seems the new patch keeps coming up with an error message on my MacBook. The second screenshot is when I press the esc button. Where do I go from here, someone?
xo_koko1983 I don't yet have a report of a specific mod doing this after today's update, but 99.9% of the time a result like this is because you didn't remove your mods. After a game patch, you should be using only mods that are updated or cleared as patch-compatible by their creator.

Hmm, it looks like you got a mod what gibving UI-isseus. And by me the mods and cc were disabled automately. And I have enabled t=my mods(exept the scriptmod.) And my game is allwright.
