I specifically have updates disabled because I am sick of the constant breaks and BS updates.

I am beyond fed up with EA and their broken updates that leave my game messed up. Why is there constant updates and nothing changes besides the game getting worse?
Disabling automatic updates is only the first step. To avoid updating you have to launch the EA App and then place it in offline mode. If you do that you can you then launch the game without updating. But as long as the App is in online mode you will have to update before playing. You'll have to put the app in offline mode each time you open it but it only takes a couple seconds.
I have done that unfortunately it did not help. And thats a whole other problem with this game as well, not being able to play without an internet connection unless you change it to offline while online. Lmao honestly, the game is not user friendly if so many have to resort to forums to run a game...
