Can't download new CC
Ever since I was forced to do the marketplace update because I couldn't download any new cc into my game without doing it, it now takes 45 mins-1 hour to load my game. And when I have a broken mod or piece of cc trying to do the 50/50 method to try to fix takes weeks! Because I have to wait 45 mins or more to load my game everytime I add more of my mods and cc to find which ones are the issue! Now im terrified for this major "bug fix" update tomorrow. I hope it doesnt finally destroy my game all together. I cant keep a single save file for more than a few weeks without them breaking! I love the sims but this is getting so heartbreakingly frustrating.
Hello HellbyBunny, this sounds to me as though your game is struggling to load the amount of CC you have in your game. As you should be aware, using Mods/CC in your game is a personal choice and while the game does support Mods & CC it is solely down to you as the player to make sure your CC and Mods are kept up to date in order for the game to be able to run them as smoothly as possible.
Mods & CC are always automatically disabled with a major patch update, because major patches often change a lot of the coding it is very likely mods and sometimes CC can break.
If all of your mods & CC are up to date and your game is still taking a long time to load, it usually means there is a broken mod. However if you know for certain that you have them all up to date and the game is taking a while to load, I recommend making sure that you have unchecked the Show On Start-Up box for Mods/CC as this can impact your initial loading time of the game.
