@Disillusioned0 I don't think there's any other options than to (force) quit the game and re-do everything since you last saved.
When you try again, I wouldn't advise switching back to an active career. Might be better to just go to the hospital with your Sim.
Make sure to save shortly before you do in case it goes wrong again.

@crinrict I did just that, still wanted to make a bug report in case it happens again or in a different way so I can update y'all
- @Disillusioned0 Can you duplicate it if you do the exact same steps ?
Please remove all your mods/cc as well. If you don't test a bug without mods/cc it's not clear what causes it.
