Cant play sims

When i go to manage worlds and click on where my sim lives, i will click the household and press play then it would load, but after it loads it will take me right back to manage worlds instead the housdehold where i can play with my sim... this has been happening quite a few times...

Yes, i am using mods/cc, i play on PC, i dont have any of those files, i did test the game now without the mods and it works perfectly

Could you please provide the following information

Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do. Please pick a thread tag for that.

What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox). Please pick a thread tag for that.

Any LastException/LastCrash files in your documents folder. Upload them to either google or oneDrive and post the link here.
