sims freezing

I have been waiting to play since last big update giving things time to be worked out. I started yesterday and since mods were turned off I made a new game. Created a sibling family just brother & sister.  Could not get past world menu. Proceeded to remove My folder, clear caches, then I uninstalled the game then the EA app and then reinstalled. I spent most of yesterday troubleshooting and checking things out. Since I could not get in the game I put some mods in but only the ones I checked & updated those that needed it. After working on eliminating  over half of what I was working with I decided to turn the tscript setting back off. Poof got in the game wee hours this morning. I got my new little family in a home and started settling them in adding a floor for more room. Then put in their greenhouse since they both love gardening & the outdoors. Then I told the teen to do her homework. ..nothing.  they had company but she was doing some kind of stuck dance in the kitchen. Her brother was still responding and socializing wit h their guest. I saved then saved & exited.  Went back in the game it had rolled back to them  not being in the house yet.  All my work on the house & greenhouse had not been saved.  This type stuff went on through the night & wee morning and now it is almost 7am and she still has not completed her homework  and I have not been able to save anything that is done. I have finally logged  enough is enough. For the longest time all the worlds that showed were just through San Sequoia, not even Chestnut Ridge was there. Sometime in the wee hours I noticed the other worlds I own  finally were there. I own  all the DLC's except the newest kits up there now. No since in purchasing anything else if I am not going to be able to play them.  Please fix what is going on. The save issues exists even without mods. Like I say my mods would work if they are mods at do not have or need tscript files. Better Extensions  starts scanning  but never completes the scan. MC hasn't given me an error on anything except when I cut tscript of then Wonderful Whims gave and fatal error. ;)  I attempted screen shots not that there was anything but a still show of sims doing nothing but I have never been able to attach anything here so I did not bother trying. Thanks guys & gals for the hard work so far & please get this taken care soon I  hope. I play through steam & EA app runs in background.
