Custom Face Presets not working in game

Just after the last update i created a sim in cas with custom facial presets. i used one for practically everything, nose, lips, eyes, and even body type. this is not something new, i’ve always done this and have never had issues. 

but this certain sim i created and he looked fine in cas but when actually put into game he has a completely different facial structure and it’s like all this features were replaced with regular ea ones. the picture of him in a shirt is how he’s supposed to look and the one without a shirt is how he looks after putting him into game & his features get changed for some reason. (i know it’s probably not that noticeable but to me it is, especially his side profile)

please let me know if you’ve experienced this problem too or if you have any sort of solution or tips. i assume it might be some sort of broken mod or cc but i’m not sure how to locate it as i have a lot of mods/cc. thank you!

p.s. it seems to only be this sim that i have the problem with. other sims I've created in the same save file look ok, idk if that helps or makes it even more confusing.
