jeskittie Could you try this, please? If CGrant's idea doesn't help.
- Rename the game's user folder (Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4)
- Start the game then exit
- Copy your Save file into the new Saves folder
- If you own the Growing Together pack, download Lumpinou's Milestones Fixes mod and put that in your new Mods folder.
- Start the save up and stop first at the map.
- Evict the household from the lot. Create a quickie new household to move into it.
- See if the lot loads. Report the EXACT result you see. Check for a lastexception file having been created by the game.
- Move the household into an empty lot. See if that loads. Same checks as above.

Also, there's lots BE doesn't detect! It doesn't cover everything.
