Game crashing back to world select, not loading household

Im having a bit of a conundrum, i created a symbolic link for the game to be on my external SSD along with all my mods and custom content. The first problem i have is that the game will not load any ...

SharketteLaw92​  Does this happen if you remove the symbolic link?  As long as you don't move the files from your external drive back to your internal one, launching a new game won't eat up much storage, and it's a quick test.  Let me know how it goes.
