Game launches to black screen

hey y'all so i updated my game today and the first time i loaded in, it was fine i just needed to enable mods, close it, and relaunch. but when i relaunched the game it was just a black screen where it should show load game and saved game and all that stuff. I even took all my mods and cc out and its still the same. Anyone know how to fix it?
