game wont open at all after update

i run my game through steam and it auto update while i was gone. i tried to open it but it didn’t work so i decided to repair my game and remove any cache i had. and when that didnt work i checked if it was my mods, tray or saves and took them out, and even with nothing it still didnt wanna open. it opened later with no mods. so i did 50/50 to look for the problem  and made a folder of mods that worked when opening the game. 

and i mean i cant even get to the opening clip, it doesn’t want to start at all…

the next day i tried to open it with the working mods and it wouldn’t open again and i even removed all gameplay/script mods. it just doesnt work and i dont understand whats wrong. did the new update corrupt my mods? is it the ea app not wanting to sync with steam? 

would it be best if i just moved my game to steam and repair it that way? 

any help or advice will really help.
