Help! Problem with a default skin

Hey, simmers!

I just realized that my default skin replacement appears in CAS, but not in-game. I don't know if it's only started recently or if I just never noticed it.

I'm really not as mod savvy as I would like. I tried deleting the local thumb cache, which I had never deleted before. I tried checking the 'uncompressed Sim textures' graphic setting.

I made sure that I only have the one default skin installed (I never tried a different one anyway but better safe than sorry I suppose). I do have non default skins, but I don't think that should affect it.

I don't know what to do. I don't hate the EA skins, but when I add CC I would like it to work.

Edit: I also have default eyes, but those are working just fine.

Sounds like a mod/CC conflict, or the skin is not working properly, try moving all your CC from the mod folder except the skin default and see if it works in a new save.

If it works when you are just using that skin default then you have some other CC that are conflicting and you have to do 50/50. (move back half your mods to your mods folder and keep going until you encounter the error again and can localize what is causing the issue.) But try first to just search for "default" in your mod folder and see of you don't have any other CC default skin or something.

If it doesn't work, then the CC skin is not working properly.
